After 125 years, The Bolton Fair brings rock and roll and fireworks to the stage on Friday night. A sterling late summer night, warm temps, and "light sabre boy" on the dance floor keeps the crowd loose. Glenn Leaming joins the boys with his harmonica on Mary Jane's Last Dance. For some reason, visions of Kim Bassigner swim in my head whenever we do that song. T.O. plays The Middle, God Part II, I Need to Know, and She for the first time. The version of God Part II was particularly stirring. Maybe next they'll clean the portapotties before the gig, and have a beer tent.
